Tips to Try
Resurrection Morning is only half of the story. Jesus appears to women in the morning, and then appears to men in the afternoon. So, to complete this story, you must continue on to The Road to Emmaus.
Many people have not heard the complete story of the Resurrection from start to end. A church in our town has formed a BibleTelling team. They have learned all the stories from the Garden of Gethsemane through The Road to Emmaus. On Easter morning, they are going to tell the entire story to their congregation. At Christmas, they told the entire Christmas story.
This may be a bit ambitious for you. But I recommend that you form a BibleTelling team, and just learn these two stories. It may be too late to tell them in front of your church congregation for Easter, but you will find many other opportunities to share them. You could tell them in an adult Sunday school class, children’s church, retirement home, or a prison ministry. Your local Christian school or home school support group would love to have you come in and tell these stories. You could even take the time to teach students to tell part (or all) of them.
On our on-line store, ILSMarket.com, you can find downloads that will teach you these stories without a lot of memory work. You will find this project to be fun and easy, but it will also open up new doors of ministry.
