Training-the-Trainer Seminar

November 9 – 13, 2009

Training

We are once again offering a four-day Training-the-Trainer seminar. This Storytelling/BibleTelling training will teach the following:

Monday

Storytelling 101

We start with “Storytelling 101,” which is how to tell personal stories. We will also show how storytelling can be used in working with today’s culture.

Tuesday

BibleTelling

This is an interactive way to learn and teach the Bible. It moves the emphasis from teaching about the Bible to actually teaching others to tell the stories of the Bible. This is also the “cutting edge” in missions and mission trips.

Wednesday

The Art of Storytelling

John Walsh is known around the world for this book published by Moody Press. You will be taught how to conduct a four-hour class where you teach storytelling to others.

Thursday

Presentation Skills

Becoming an effective presenter is a skill that can be learned. On this day we examine the principles for preparing and giving a dynamic presentation that keeps your audience’s attention from start to finish.

Friday

Focus on Ministry

Many people say this is the most valuable time of the entire training. John leads participants through exercises that show them how to structure their time so they can focus on their ministry. Each person will leave with a plan of action he/she has personally prepared.

We have a limited number of who can attend this training, therefore the registration fee must be paid in advance to reserve a space. Here is the information:
